Suture 5/0, 18", POLYSYN™ with P-3 needle is a synthetic absorbable surgical suture composed of a braided copolymer made from glycolide, lactide, and e-caprolactone. It is designed for short-term wound support in soft tissue approximation and ligation procedures. The violet color of the suture enhances visibility in the surgical field, assisting in accurate placement.

The suture features a reverse cutting P-3 needle, 13 mm in length, with a 3/8 circle curvature. This needle type is engineered for use in tough or fibrous tissues, offering precise penetration and improved control during suturing. The needle's configuration makes it suitable for delicate or cosmetic procedures requiring clean entry and exit through tissue.
